Healthcare Tech Pivot
PROJECT IN-DEPTH DESCRIPTION
PLATFORM DESCRIPTION
A web-based healthcare software platform was developed and deployed in Brazil to connect companies, their employees (as patients), and healthcare clinics in the country. The multi-sided platform adheres to strict governmental regulations which determine mandated exams and frequency for each type of employee-labour risk exposure.
Exams are automatically (through company-specific approval rules) or manually requested within a web-based application, and the demand is routed to specific clinics in each city. Exam results and clinical observations are inputted at the clinic level, and are available for medical staff only, according to regulations. The platform monitors the status of all employees as patients and suggests specific exam sets according to business and employee profiles as they dynamically change.
Decision trees are used to determine specific software behaviours according to each patient’s medical history, condition, risk exposure profile, and employment status.
